EERI relies on observations from EERI members to provide informed observations about actual impacts in areas affected by the earthquake. All data submitted to EERI as described on this page will be visible on the 2015-04-25 Nepal Earthquake Data Map and in the Nepal Earthquake photo gallery.

EERI Photo Upload Map

The EERI Photo upload map is a web-based interactive map that is ideal for uploading non-geotagged photos. You can upload your photos on this page by using the map shown below.

EERI Batch Photo Upload Tool

The EERI Photo Upload Tool is a java-based tool that allows you to upload geotagged photos to the virtual clearinghouse in a single batch from your computer. To use this tool, photos must be geotagged, or latitude/longitude locations must be known. Additionally, uploading large numbers of photos requires a strong internet connection to ensure a successful upload.

Clearinghouse Fieldnotes

Clearinghouse Fieldnotes is a web-based mobile data collection tool. This tool can be used to submit point data that contains a photo and some form data using your mobile device in the field. At this time, using Clearinghouse Fieldnotes requires an internet cellular data connection.
