On Saturday, September 3, 2016, a 5.8 magnitude earthquake struck 15km NW of Pawnee, Oklahoma at 12:02:44 UTC (7:02 a.m. CT). On Monday, November 7, 2016, a 5.0 magnitude earthquake struck 2km W of Cushing, Oklahoma at 1:44:24 UTC (8:44 a.m. CT). EERI responded as part of its Learning from Earthquakes Program (LFE) by launching this virtual clearinghouse site and contacting many EERI members and colleagues in Oklahoma for information and observations.
